Liz comes from a long line of successful promotions after consistently demonstrating that she can get shit done.
After running a successful compaign to get a Democrat elected in Boise, Idaho, Liz moved west to Portland to start her career. She landed at a software company as the travel coordinator and admin assistant in 2007, and quickly proved
her worth as she was promoted often as her managers understood how to best leverage her talents for solving problems, especially around company valuation for M&A, negotiating contracts, implementing an eCom strategy and payments
solution.
Soon after the successful negotiation of a merger with a Fortune 500 company, Liz decided to delve deeper into the business world by earning her MBA from the University of Portland. After wowing the other students with her deft negotiating
skills in class, she was unanimously nominated by the students to become the teacher. This got the attention of the Dean, who learned of her desire and ideas to make the program better, and quickly hired her as the new Adjunct
Professor of Negotiations.
She now serves as the Contract Manager at Act-On software, while teaching and running a successful business in Megaverse Consulting.

He moved from Boise to Portland in 1999 to study Computer Science at Linfield College, and then landed his first job doing software development and PC Tech Support for a local manufacturing company. Two-and-a-half hears later, he heeded the call to be a part of the burgeoning tech community in Portland, and landed there in 2006, working for Springbrook Software, a tech company specializing in Accounting software for governments.
He quickly moved from support programming to become the Implementations Development Manager, helping to turn a wing of the company into a profit-machine by constantly improving and scaling the way they were finding and implementing new customers.
He had a brief stint as an Associate with Huron Consulting Group, where he helped to implement Medical Research Universities with software to help them get federal grant funding, and then moved to the Port of Portland, where he became the Manager of Digital Communications.
Since then, Jesse has successfully managed the team, and lead the architecture and development of the Port's corporate Intranet, the PortOfPortland.com company enterprise website, and has rebuilt FlyPDX.com, the main digital experience for users of the beloved PDX airport.
